Mersea is regularly featured as one of the gems of San Francisco waterfront dining so it was no surprise to those who frequent it to see a headline in the SF Chronicle stating that those seeking the best views in SF need to head to Mersea.  With an executive chef that hails from some of the better flagship restaurants on the other side of the Bay– Waterbar and EPIC Steakhouse, the food is serious but casual.  But what sets Mersea apart is a totally different aspect of the experience—a genuine passion for and record of excelling at creating and supporting a strong sense of community amongst visitors, residents and worker on Treasure Island.

From French fries and fish tacos to amazing chowder and poke bowls, Mersea features delicious, approachable food in a comfortable and fun environment that appeals to nearly everyone.  Even dogs!  In fact, it was listed as one of the most friendly dog restaurants in the United States!

San Francisco, long celebrated for its rolling hills, rich diversity, and unique cultural identity, has added yet another jewel to its crown of urban green spaces. With 220 parks and a climate that invites outdoor exploration year-round, the city is a sanctuary for nature lovers. Unlike its East Coast counterpart, New York, San Francisco is far from a concrete jungle, offering a harmonious blend of urban living and open spaces.

We’re not quite sure why this beautiful gem is not on the top of all of the lists featuring the best places to brunch in San Francisco so it was no surprise to see Aracely Café featured as one of the most luxurious places to celebrate Mother’s Day in the Bay. The stylish venue isn’t new to the island and is regularly featured at the top of wedding venue lists so there is no doubt the beautiful environs have impressed more than a few since it has been open for nearly a decade.   If you are looking for a brunch spot that is sure to impress mom, look no further than the peaceful courtyard surrounded by pretty plantsf eaturing a lovely menu of California cuisine.
